The moment Chris saw the Marine Life fabric at AAF, she knew that it would be perfect for her first project. She also knew that her biologist husband and marine biologist co-workers would be pleased with the life science theme although they would be mildly annoyed at the lack of anatomical correctness. However, their annoyance was a sacrifice she felt justified in laying on the altar of art. The drape of the fabric was exactly what she hoped for in a skirt, plus she found the whimsical fabric fun to work with. For her, the entire project was a joy from cutting out to finishing.
