Notes:	Julie incorporated many couture sewing details to take her perfectly tailored Claire Shaefer jacket to a new level. She pad-stitched hair canvas to the lapels and under collar and catch-stitched bias-cut canvas strips to the hems. The front edge and roll line were taped and secured with fell stitches. Tie ends were moistened, pinned to an ironing board and stretched--twice. Sleeves were lined prior to being inserted into the jacket and set in by hand. Her printed silk lining with its contrast flat piping was also inserted by hand. With so many hours of exquisite hand work, Julie's beautifully executed jacket will be wonderful to wear on many different occasions.
