  Fabric red silk and cotton jacquard faille

  Notes Ready to rock at any party from formal on down, here is a red silk and cotton jacquard faille strapless dress with self fabric bands, boning, self piping at the waist, soft waistline gathers in a mostly straight skirt, and fully lined. It began life as a floor length dress with a high slit, later shortened for yet another wearing. The bodice pattern is Vintage McCall's 8633. Long black gloves, vintage jewels, and outrageous Charles Jourdan shoes (heavily discounted at Filene's Basement!) completed the look.
