I made this Roberto Cavalli silk burnout dress for a formal wedding in Recife, Brazil. 1,000 people in attendance. The reception was an epic party. With simple modifications I was able to wear this dress to two other weddings!!! For an early September wedding in Westport, MA, I shortened the dress and created a pinafore with obi-like ties. The shrug is a hand-painted panne velvet which seemed to be a perfect compliment to the dress for a late November wedding reception
