Annie's Trunk Show: Sydney's Christmas Present

I made this fun hat and coat for my great niece Sydney when she was about 18 months. She wore it for nearly 6 years! The coat/hat are made from an iris-colored mohair/wool. I used a contrasting heathered wool flannel for the bound buttonholes, piping, and under collar. The silk lining is a print. The large ceramic buttons were from AAF; the pattern was a Burda and is no longer available.
